This cord is the ideal replacement for the beading cord you've been using made of nylon or other materials. This superstrong cord is made from "spectra fibers," a high-tech modern monofilament that stretches much less than the others, and is extremely strong. It is 10 times as strong as steel, very resistant to abrasion.
This pure white cord is 50-lb test and .012 inches in diameter, 50 yards long! There are other smaller parachute cords available, but they are less strong and very small diameters (.006 or less). This is not affected by UV radiation, and is waterproof.
