Miyuki Magatama Beads
Japanese long Magatama beads from Miyuki continue a centuries-old tradition of the Japanese beading culture (they originated about 3000 years ago!). Modern glass beads are teardrop-shaped, measuring about 7x4mm, with an offset hole.
Because of their unique petal shape, they sit at angles in your design, offering an interesting texture. The amount of transparent glass used in their manufacturing passes more light for a sparkling appearance.
We currently offer these in 8.5 gram tubes, so you can easily mix and match colors without needing to invest in a lot of beads. Each tube contains about 75 beads.
