This respirator is one of the lightest reusable half mask respirators available. Extremely cost effective, it can be washed and reused many times.

The 3M 6000 Series is a maintenance-free, reusable respirator. It is ready for your to attach the disposable filters directly to the facepiece (sold separately). The low profile feature provides better visibility and allows safety glasses to be worn more comfortably. Lightweight design is comfortable for longer periods of wear. The adjustable cradle suspension holds the respirator in place for maximum fit and comfort. NIOSH/MSHA approved.

The large plastic strip in the picture is not a stiff headpiece, but a double-wide strap that sits on your head exactly opposite the mask, with adjustable straps.
