This is an ultra-soft, wonderfully braidable bamboo flat yarn/ribbon created from pure bamboo cellustistic fiber woven into a narrow ribbon wrapped with a delicate nylon giving it a hint of a sheen. It is the Berroco Bonsai brand yarn.
We have created an 8-strand kumihimo necklace on the KumiLoom™, and it was very easy to braid, with a wonderful drape and a luxurious soft feel.
Created of 97% bamboo fiber and 3% nylon (the binding material), comes in a hank of 77 yards, about 50 grams.
