This is a package with everything you need to start woodburning your gourds today. You get the 100 Watt Detail Master Sabre IV main unit; a number 5-A handpiece, and a rubber handhold/finger protector.

The Detail Master is a solid state electronic unit built using modern technology, and is used by many woodburning artists. This is a 100 watt unit; if you set the dial to just below the halfway mark, your pen tip will be just the right heat for woodburning gourds. All standard Detail Master pens and all oversize and specialty pens work with this unit!

Attention to detail makes this unit an exceptional value. The front jack allows changing of pens easily; the separate power switch lets you find the right power setting and leave it there; and the side pen holder keeps a hot tip secure and ready for use.

The 5-A pen and tip, included, is the one we prefer for gourd burning. Its shape allows it to be easily sharpened and maintained, and this tip is the most versatile of the over 50 types of pens available for this unit for detailed gourd and wood pyrography. We have used one of these tips heavily for two years and it still woodburns like a new tip.

This unit comes with a one year limited warranty from the manufacturer. This unit is excellent for all gourd woodburning and all wood woodburning.
