The Detail Master is a solid state electronic unit built using modern technology, and is used by many woodburning artists. This is a 50 watt unit; if you set the dial to about the halfway mark, your pen tip will be just the right heat for woodburning gourds. Every standard Detail Master pen works with this unit!
Attention to detail makes this unit an exceptional value. The front jack allows changing of pens easily; the separate power switch lets you find the right power setting and leave it there; and the side pen holder keeps a hot tip secure and ready for use.
This unit comes with a one year limited warranty from the manufacturer. This unit is excellent for all gourd woodburning, and all but the heaviest wood woodburning, if you choose to use it for that also. We have used the more powerful unit, and have found that this one is less expensive and produces the same results.
Factory sealed, includes the instruction manual. You'll need at least one Detail Master pen to use with this base unit.
