5/8" Hole Drilling Bit

This is the bit we recommend and use to drill holes in a gourd for the oil lamp inserts. This bit will "dig" slowly and cleanly through the gourd; flat or "spade" bits scrape against the gourd surface, resulting in a lot of chipped holes and potentially cracked gourds. You don't need a pilot hole, this has its own pilot bit in the center. Styles may vary.

Fits any standard 1/4" power drill.
